May is a busy month for promoting public works! First we have National Bike Month with a Bike to School Day on May 9th, a Bike to Work Week from May 14-18, and a Bike to Work Day on May 18th. Next up is Drinking Water Week, held May 6-12. This is a promotion celebrated by the American Water Works Association. The group is offering a video and coloring contest along with materials you can use to promote the week in your own community. Check out their site at the link below:
