Public Works Group May Newsletter

Over the last year or so we haven't released any email blasts and have instead have put all our efforts into publishing on the Public Works Daily and the Public Works Group Blog site. But this month we decided to again start launching the email blast, Taking It to the Streets because that format provides an easy and quick method of sharing newly released informaiton or resources. In case you are trying to decide which publication best meets your needs, here's a short summary of the layout and topics you'll find in each:

Public Works Daily - a daily dose of random stories, reports, and information related to public works and shared by people from all over the world. The format is in a newspaper style with a short blurb and link to each item. You can subscribe to receive through email a link to the daily update by clicking the subscribe button on the daily site.

Public Works Group Blog - a regularly updated site covering a wide variety of topics related to public works, engineering, government, CAD, GIS, 3D technology, social media, and training and education. The format is a traditional blog style with some posts written in an editorial style and others in a news style. The site usually allows for moderated comments. You can subscribe to receive notices of updates by clicking the RSS button on the blog site.

Taking It to the Streets - an occasional email blast sent to subscribers with short bits of information and links to topics related to public works. This format is in a traditional email blast style with the appearance of a one-page newsletter. Most short blurbs have links the reader can follow to gain even more information. (You can subscribe to receive this by filling out the subscription form in the right sidebar on the Public Works Group home page. You can unsubscribe at any time.)

We appreciate your continuing support of the Public Works Group!
